data protection policy
The following provisions explain the manner in which and the purpose for which Schibano Pharma AG (hereinafter “Schibano Pharma”) processes personal data. If you do not agree with the following provisions, you must refrain from accessing the website and from submitting personal data to Schibano Pharma.
1. Name and address of the responsible party
The party responsible for the schibano-swiss-pharma.com website within the context of the applicable data protection laws is:
Schibano Pharma AG
Commercial Register No.: CH-320.3.078.038-7
Chairman of the Board: Daniele Schibano
2. Scope of personal data processing
As a rule, we only process personal data of our website users to the extent that this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. As a rule, the processing of personal data of our users only takes place after obtaining the consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases in which obtaining prior consent is not possible for actual reasons and the processing of personal data is permitted by legal regulations.
Our website contains a contact form that can be used for electronic contact. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the entry form will be transmitted to Schibano Pharma and stored. Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored.
In this context, no data is passed on to third parties, with the exception of Schibano Pharma Group companies and technical service providers (see also item 6), to the extent that this is necessary for processing the contact.
The processing of the personal data from the entry form is solely for the purpose of processing the contact. In the event that contact is made by e-mail, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data.
The other personal data processed during the submission process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of the systems. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective contact with the user has ended. The user has the option of revoking their consent regarding the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts Schibano Pharma by e-mail, they can revoke their consent to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, however, maintaining the contact cannot be continued.
5. Server log files
As with any connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider “Infomaniak SA” logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to enable you to access our website. The web hosting provider protects this data from unauthorised access with technical and organisational measures and does not pass it on to third parties. If we do process personal data at this stage, we do so because it is in our interest to provide you with the best possible user experience and to ensure the security and stability of our systems.
Collecting data to enable the provision of the website and storing the data in log files is absolutely essential for the operation and use of the website. Consequently, there is no option for the user to refuse this.
6. Data transfer and international transmission
You agree that Schibano Pharma may also use your data to enable third parties in Switzerland and abroad to perform technical, logistical or other services on behalf of Schibano Pharma for the purpose of providing the website and for the purpose of providing services by Schibano Pharma. These third parties do not process the data for their own purposes, but only for the purposes of Schibano Pharma. Schibano Pharma ensures that these third parties comply with the applicable data protection laws and these data protection provisions and only process your data as instructed by Schibano Pharma.
7. Deletion of data
The personal data of the relevant individual will be deleted or disabled as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this is provided for by the laws applicable to Schibano Pharma (e.g. statutory storage obligations). Data will also be disabled or deleted if a legally prescribed storage period expires, unless there is a need to continue storing the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.
8. Your rights
You have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. You have the right to revoke your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. The revocation of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Such requests should be sent to email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (for Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (EDÖB)).
Schibano Pharma reserves the right to modify this data protection declaration at any time within the framework of the legal requirements without prior notice. The data protection provisions currently posted on the website are applicable.
